Own Boat Tuition / Familiarisation & Private Shorebased Instruction
If you wish to learn using your own boat or take private theory instruction, we can help you.
We are able to offer sail cruising, motor cruising or powerboating instruction on your own boat, and if required shorebased training, on a private basis.
The instruction can either be for a specific RYA course or simply brushing up on competencies and knowledge that are rusty.

Should you wish to use your own boat for RYA Instruction, MCA Exam Preparation, or simply require coaching in specific areas such as boat handling, pilotage or sail trimming we can help you.
Our instructors have significant experience of a wide range of yachts, motor cruisers and powerboats, and our informal approach will soon build your confidence and maximise your enjoyment.
The Own Boat Tuition approach helps to provide more flexibility in terms of dates, location and training format and also enables you to work at your own pace.
