Race & Regattas - UK & North Europe

2600 nautical miles of offshore and ocean racing from Cowes on the Isle of Wight in England south to the island of Madeira in the Atlantic Ocean

Racers will head out west through the English Channel, past the Channel Islands and the French coast and out into the notorious Bay of Biscay then south down the Spanish and Portuguese coast, past the rock of Gibraltar and continue south down the African coast to Madeira.

The race is split into two legs outbound and return, and crew changes are allowed.

• 4 days intensive race training 2nd to 5th June 2008
• RORC Qualifying race 1 Morgan Cup 6th to 8th June
• Offshore qualifying Passage 20th to 23rd June
• RORC qualifying race 2 Channel Race 26th 27th July
• Madeira Race leg 1 departs 11TH August ETA 20th August
• Madeira Race leg 2 departs Madeira approx 22nd August ETA 31st August
