Easter Cruise to Tunisia From £395 19 - 26 March 2008

Is Easter too early for UK sailing this year!? Join us for an early season cruise.

Subject to weather we'll visit Tunisia, possibly stopping at Djerba in the South or Monastir or El Kantoui further up the coast.

Tunisia is a fascinating country, originally colonised by the Phoenicians, who founded Carthage which is now part of Tunis.

The North is more European while the southern part of the country borders the Sahara desert; during our stay, we hope to have an excursion inland to see some more of the country.

If the weather makes Tunisia un-tenable, we'll go to Sicily instead.

Includes accommodation, food on board, mooring fees

Volcanoes Cruise From £395 17-26 May 2008

We'll sail from Malta to Syracuse in Sicily - a beautiful town in its own right.

From there we'll take a day trip to Mt Etna, with the intention of getting to the top, a height of around 11,000 ft, via the cable car and trucks at the summit.

Then on to Stromboli where we intend to anchor and attempt to get up the volcano; this is of course subject to satisfactory conditions.

Finally to the Bay of Naples for the third volcano of our tour, Vesuvius. There should also be the chance of visiting the Roman ruins and visiting the island of Nisida.

Clearly, the visits to the volcanoes are subject to them being safe!

Total distance approx 350 miles, longest leg approx 150 miles

Includes accommodation, food on board, mooring fees

Another good opportunity for mile-building and a longer passage.
