Whether you are a first-timer wanting to be a useful crew member, or a more experienced skipper wanting to expand your skills and increase your confidence, there is an RYA course for you.

Sail Cruising Courses With Ambition Sailing

Ambition Sailing RYA sailing courses are run in The Solent, from Southampton, and on successful completion all clients will receive the RYA Course Completion Certificate.

Our yachts, based at Ocean Village, are fitted out to a high specification including the navigation and deck equipment necessary to complete all aspects of the syllabus. They include some luxuries not often found on sailing training vessels including refrigerated cool box, showers, 240v shore supply and cabin heating. Both yachts sleep five people comfortably in double and single berths.

The courses generally run with a low student to instructor ratio (4:1), however we are happy to consider groups of five people if appropriate.

All clients can choose the format of the course best suited to their individual commitments.
